Experienced Home Stager Position

We're growing!  We are looking for a great Home Stager to join our team in Toronto.  Our mission is simple, "Create beautiful spaces to entice buyers in the real estate market."  If you or someone you know is interested, please see below: Location: Toronto and the GTA Duties & Responsibilities: Staging: -Packing, loading & unloading staging items (accessories, art, etc.) -Unpacking & sorting accessories -Unpackaging/De-tagging newly bought items -Assisting in staging with lead, Tamara Poljak - Individual staging project management -Cleaning after staging (i.e. removing trash, cleaning mirrors, dusting, vacuuming) -Destaging homes -Organizing staging items including data entry/return in warehouse Design: Passion for styling/staging/design, strong sense of aesthetics, curiosity and commitment to stay current on new trends is a MUST. Shopping for furniture pieces, art and home accessories (when needed) Selecting items/sourcing from warehouse for projects Qualifications: -A love of home design! Design training and/or experience is a great asset, preferably 1 year or more -Ability to drive (have valid Ontario drivers license and has a vehicle with valid insurance) -Have or obtain liability insurance -Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly. -Demonstrate creative abilities and applied problem-solving skills -Strong abilities to work in a team setting -Proven ability to self-manage and demonstrate high level of professional maturity -Must be detail and task oriented and self-motivated -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Candidate must be physically able to perform various installation project requirements such as lifting, standing for long periods, using a ladder, and other physical duties.  Hours: -Approximately 25 hours/week. Hours vary day-to-day, but candidate should be available between 8:30am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Compensation:  Hourly pay base plus gas allowance. Staged homes create an ambience that welcomes the buyer immediately, allowing them to envision living in the space and leaving with a lasting impression. Studies indicate that it only takes 3-6 minutes for a person to walk through a property.* In that short amount of time, you have to wow them from the beginning!

Nowadays, it seems everyone is optimizing their home search via the internet. Pictures are such an important element as it helps buyers decide if they want to physically view the property. Again, you have to wow them right away. If your property is currently lived in, personal effects and design choices can be an obstacle as buyers try to picture themselves living in your home.
